Kenny: "Damon Jones thinks he's Robin to [Shaq's] Batman!"
Chuck: "But he's Alfred--"
Kenny: "Yeah, he's actually Alfred...but he thinks he's Robin!"
Alright, so I haven't updated this sucker in over a year--sadly, basketball has taken something of a backseat in my life (*gasp* the horror, I know). Such is the abyss that is medicine. Not that I've been missing a whole hell of a lot with the absolutely disgusting mess that is the Trailblazers organization as of late. I was going to say that at least we'll get a pretty good lottery pick, but we seem to be incapable of capitalizing on any sort of draft opportunity (a kid called MJ in '84, anyone?), or even if we do, we squander their talents and end up trading them (for peanuts) elsewhere, where they then proceed to become huge stars (cf. Jermaine O'Neal). My Kings are doing okay, I guess...Peja seems to be back to his old form now that C-Webb is a Sixer. So much upheaval in the league, though...it's hardly recognizable having been away from the action for much of the season. Playoffs start next week--hopefully I'll be able to play some catch-up and this won't turn out to be the last you hear of me for another year. Before I go, can I just send some big-time lovin' to my boy Joel Przybilla? I swear, we have some quality players, it's just too bad they're all stuck in this directionless craphole of a team. I'm out.
